Training

Our next training is December 7th, 8th and 9th.

The Electronic Security Association of Utah is the only authorized agency capable of providing the trainings that the state requires for alarm technicians. The State of Utah requires that all technicians receive the Level 1 training. The cost for this training is $350 if you are a member company. If you are not a member company you can either join or pay the $500 non-member cost.

We will have trainings in 2016, and we’ll list them here once the dates have been solidified.  In the meantime, if you need a private training, contact Michelle Best (385-229-2120) or email utahalarmassociation@gmail.com.

IN MOST  CASES WE NEED TO HAVE AT LEAST 15 PARTICIPANTS TO HOLD A CLASS.

IF YOU ARE NOT AN EMPLOYEE OF A MEMBER COMPANY, YOU WILL HAVE TO PAY THE NON-MEMBER RATE OF $500.  IF IT IS DETERMINED THAT YOU HAVE NOT PAID THE $500, YOU WILL BE BILLED FOR THE $150 AND WILL NOT RECEIVE YOUR PAPERWORK OR CERTIFICATE UNTIL THIS DIFFERENCE HAS BEEN PAID.
