Utah Alarm Association Holds Successful Annual Election Luncheon at Cheescake Factory Jan 15, 2014

Utah Alarm Association held its annual election luncheon at the Cheesecake Factory for the second year in a row.

Security companies in Utah gathered for networking and lunch that does not disappoint. With choices of salads, the famous chicken madeira, salmon, and cheesecake, everyone that attended was well fed.

We had around 40 people attend from alarm companies all over the State of Utah. We also had many manufacturers and distributeors there that are supportive associate members.

The Utah Alarm Association had three positions up for election. The President, Secretary, and one at large board member.

Nate Wilcox was re-elected as the president and we are very happy and appreciate his service in our associtation. He has been serving on the board for 3 years already.

Brek Grover was also re-elected as the secretary and he has also been on the board for 3 years. We very much appreciate his time and commute he puts into the association.

We welcomed Erik Spotten to the board as the at large board member. He has been helping us with trainings for a long time now and will continue to do so, but we are thrilled to have him join us and also help on the board.

The lunch was sponsored and paid for by Vivint and Utah Alarm Association cannot thank Vivint enough for their support. We also want to thank Michelle Best, our director, for organizing the lunch.
